Walk-In Procedure
We welcome walk-in clients! To make your visit as smooth as possible, please follow the steps below when you arrive at our office.
- Check In: Upon arrival, go to the front desk and let our staff know you are here for a walk-in service. You will be given access to our Walk-In Sign-In Form (your phone, on a tablet or paper if preferred).
- Complete the Sign-In Form: Provide your full name, date of birth, and contact information. Select the service or test you are requesting from the drop-down list and indicate your preferred contact method (phone or email).
- Wait for Confirmation: After you sign in, please take a seat in the waiting area. Our staff will review your information and confirm that everything is complete.
- Service Preparation: Once confirmed, our team will prepare the materials needed for your test or service. If payment details are required, we will assist you before moving forward.
- Test Collection / Service Completion: You will be guided to the collection area or service room. A staff member will explain the process and answer any questions you may have.
• Walk-ins are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times may vary depending on volume.
• Please bring a valid photo ID and any necessary documentation from your practitioner (if applicable).
• All information collected is kept confidential and HIPAA-compliant.

How do I order lab tests?
Through your provider or self-order by going to our Direct-to-Consumer Shop or calling 855-405-TEST.
What tests may I order myself?
FoodSafe™ IgG4, allergy profiles, most blood/stool profiles, and some specialty tests.
What tests must my physician order?
All hormone profiles and the cardiovascular Whole Blood Viscosity (WBV) profile.
Where can I get pricing?
Contact MVL Customer Service (855-405-TEST) or your practitioner.
How long will it take to receive results?
Hormone testing is typically 3–4 weeks. Routine panels may be sooner. Complex profiles can take longer.
How will I receive results?
Results are sent to the provider unless the patient has an MVL account and payment on file. A release form may be required for a direct copy. All delivery follows HIPAA-compliant processes.
Can I talk to someone about my results?
Please review results with your provider. MVL staff cannot provide medical advice, but Client Services can answer process or report-access questions.
Does MVL accept insurance or Medicare?
Payment is due at time of service. MVL is not contracted with insurers or Medicare.

What’s the turnaround time for results?
Allergy Testing: ~2 weeks
Urine Tests: ~3+ weeks

How long does my specimen remain stable?
Bloodspots: 30 days
24-Hr Urine: 7 days room / 2 weeks fridge / indefinite frozen
Dried Urine: 14–21 days
Allergy serum: 90 days
CBC: 48–72 hours (overnight shipping required)
Can my kit products or vials expire?
Yes. Always check vial expiration before collecting and request replacements if expired.
What temperature is best for storing my specimen?
Room temp: Bloodspot, Serum (Allergy), Dried Urine
Refrigerated: 24-Hour Urine
What if my blood can’t be centrifuged?
No problem. Send the specimen and MVL staff will centrifuge on arrival.
What do the colored caps mean?
They match the original vials used by the phlebotomist to ensure correct transfer.
I forgot to return my requisition form. What should I do?
Email a photo of the form to info@meridianvalleylab.com.
